Thank you to everyone who attended our 2018 VIP Party Event on Thursday 1 November. This year we celebrated with a Carnivàle theme at Doltone House. Guests were treated to a beautiful grazing table spread with luxe canapes being served during the night. In 2018, #TeamEtchells celebrates 10 years with McGrath so it was absolutely fantastic to have the support of so many of our clients, colleagues and friends on the night.
There’s a LOT of hype at the moment about Australia’s cooling property market particularly in Sydney and Melbourne. There are less buyers and house prices have pulled back to what we call ‘normal’ market conditions. 2018 marks my team’s 10th anniversary with McGrath so we’ve seen this type of market a number of times and can confirm it’s not all doom and gloom. In a cooled market that favours the buyer there are still opportunities to achieve great results as it’s all relative when you’re buying and selling in the same market. In fact, the current ‘normal’ market is a great way to reposition yourself into your new dream home. Here are some considerations that we recommend to our vendors to stand out from the crowd and achieve a positive result.
