I’d like to wish everyone a happy new year and offer some insights as to what may happen in the property market in 2024.
First, we are at or very near to the end of this rate-hiking cycle. With inflation falling from 8.4% at the peak in December 2022 to 4.3% in November 2023, many economists think another rate rise is unlikely. In fact, there’s a real possibility of rate cuts toward the end of this year.
